As we transition to full-day, in-person programming, I would like to share that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended the program that allows schools to provide meals at no cost to all children aged 18 and under. The program titled “the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)” will run through the rest of this school year and all of next school year. During this time, all students and residents under the age of 18 are eligible for school breakfast and lunch, FREE OF CHARGE.
