Kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year will open on February 5, 2024 for children who will be five years old on or before October 1, 2024 (per Board Policy #5112).

Upon completion of the forms, please either make an appointment with the registrar's office, scan and email them to registrar@hvrsd.org, or place them in the drop box located outside the Administration Bldg at 425 S Main St. Pennington NJ 08534. Hopewell YMCA Safety Town 2024: Designed to provide hands-on safety education for incoming kindergarten and first-grade students, this program is directed by YMCA staff members with assistance from local youth volunteers and features visits by police, firefighters, paramedics, and other local first responders and community members. Safety Town is a realistic, child-sized town with miniature streets, buildings, crosswalks, and working traffic lights. Students will navigate the safety town setting on a provided bicycle while learning the importance of bicycle, pedestrian, and vehicular safety. This childhood safety education program is designed so children will have the tools to be able to create safe situations for themselves in everyday life, including social skills, traffic & pedestrian skills, safety in the community, and safety at home. Campers are encouraged to bring their own bike AND must bring their own helmet, to allow campers to become familiar with the bike they will be riding daily.
