The Hopewell Valley Community

The Hopewell Valley community encompasses about sixty square miles and includes the three central New Jersey municipalities of Hopewell Township, Hopewell Borough and Pennington Borough. The 18,000+ residents enjoy the contrast of quaint, historic borough communities and the natural beauty of the rural, rolling hills of township farmland. Bordered on the west by the Delaware River and Washington Crossing State Park, the community features an abundance of public recreation sites for boating, fishing, picnicking and historic touring. Take our Hopewell Valley online tour to get a glimpse of our beautiful community.

Situated 45 minutes from downtown Philadelphia and less than ninety minutes from Manhattan, Hopewell Valley is home to such corporations as Merrill Lynch,  Bristol Myers Squibb, and Janssen Pharmaceutica.
Nearby are Princeton University, Rider University, The College of New Jersey, and Mercer County Community College, while Rutgers, the State University, is forty-five minutes to the north.

The state capital, Trenton, is ten minutes south of the Valley. Just over the southern Hopewell Township border in Ewing Township is the Trenton-Mercer Airport.
